File found?


Checks if a specific file exists in the specified directory. If the file exists, then the 'Yes' branch is executed, otherwise the 'No' branch will be executed.



  1. Set a value: enables you to directly write a path to the file.

  2. Save the previous step result: chooses the previous activity result as a path.

  3. Calculate a value: enables you to use available properties and methods to form a path.

Usage Examples

This activity can be used in a different situations. For example, if a project has a settings file for business-user then you may check its existence at the start of a project. If a file doesn't exists then you may write to a log file the corresponding message.
